How to fix: Case study / proof point above the fold

Part of the Content Quality pillar on the Site Integrity Index.

Why this matters

Compliance / accessibility buyers scan for social proof (client logos, testimonials, "trusted by") before reading offer copy. If it isn't in the first viewport, the reader assumes it doesn't exist and bounces.

Background

What it checks: a concrete proof point — a stat, a case study reference, a real example — appears above the fold, not just abstract claims. Why it matters: abstract claims ("we help you improve compliance") carry no verification weight. A specific proof point does, for both human readers deciding whether to trust the page and AI systems evaluating credibility.

References

Editorial content-quality signal — above-the-fold proof heuristic. AI systems and human readers both weight concrete proof points early on the page.

How to fix

Lead with something concrete — "124 checks, each mapped to a published standard" is a proof point; "comprehensive audits" is not. Pull from your own real numbers wherever possible: check counts, response times, case-study client names, published research. If you can't find one real number to lead with, the page's positioning may need work before its copy does.

Verify it's working

Look at what's visible in the first viewport-height on both desktop and mobile. If there's no number, no named example, and no case study reference, this check will keep firing.
