How to fix: Single primary jurisdiction / framework led

Part of the Content Quality pillar on the Site Integrity Index.

Why this matters

Naming five frameworks equally signals "we do everything" — which reads as "we specialise in nothing". Buyers looking for WCAG specialists skip past generalist pages. Pick a lead framework and structure the page around it.

Background

What it checks: the page has one clear primary framework or jurisdiction, rather than diluting itself across several at once. Why it matters: pages trying to rank for "GDPR AND CCPA AND PIPEDA" simultaneously tend to rank for none of them — search and AI extraction both prefer a clear primary subject.

References

Editorial content-quality signal — single-primary-subject heuristic. Both search and AI extraction prefer pages with one clear topical anchor.

How to fix

Pick one framework as the page's lead subject. If you need to cover multiple, split into separate pages and cross-link them, rather than blending them into one unfocused page. A "comparison" page can name multiple frameworks — but a compliance guide should pick one and lead with it.

Verify it's working

If the page names more than one framework in its H1 or first paragraph, either split it or rewrite to lead with the single primary one.
